Joint Labor Management Committee
of the Retail Food Industry

The JLMC

The Joint Labor Management Committee of the Retail Food Industry (the JLMC) is a bipartisan labor-management organization launched in 1974.

The mission of the JLMC is to provide a forum for constructive relationships and dialogue between senior levels of industry management and labor.

By creating a forum for open dialogue, the JLMC helps promote the competitiveness of unionized retail grocery stores and fosters an environment where represented workers earn competitive pay and benefits.

The JLMC provides a space for members to work together on issues of common concern and to enable their affiliated multiemployer pension and health plans to achieve greater effectiveness.
