Celebrating 50 Years!

On May 21, 2024, the JLMC celebrated our 50th anniversary. The event was highlighted by an address from the Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su, who congratulated our organization on its sustained success and called us “one example of what can be achieved when workers and employers work together.”

The event also featured current and former JLMC Trustees,  including current JLMC Trustee and UFCW International President Marc Perrone and the CEO of Albertsons, Vivek Sankaran, as well as representatives from the UFCW International Union and Local Unions across the country, our affiliated employers, and organizations who have supported the JLMC over the years.

The celebration was held at the Capitol Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC.

The anniversary celebration was accompanied by Trustee and General Membership Meetings on the 21st and 22nd.
